Home Reviews Lounges The Lounge (Priority Pass) at Boston Logan Airport Review

The Lounge at Boston Logan airport has a reputation for being notoriously difficult to access when using a Priority Pass membership. We finally had the opportunity to experience it firsthand when we flew TAP Business Class.

The Lounge operating hours are:

  • 6am to 9pm on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday
  • 6am to 10pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday

Passengers flying Air Lingus and TAP First or Business Class get priority access to The Lounge. If you are neither, you can attempt to use the Priority Pass or buy a day pass for $45.

Unfortunately, in our experience, accessing the lounge with a Priority Pass membership is extremely challenging. We frequently fly out of Terminal C, which is home to our preferred domestic airline, Jet Blue, but every time we attempt to access The Lounge, there’s a waitlist. Only once we cleared the list prior to our flight departure but it was just a five minutes before the boarding, so we did not get a chance to fully experience the lounge.

As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, we got access to The Lounge because we were flying TAP Business Class. However, to be fair, we would have been able to access it with our Priority Pass membership as our flight was a red-eye flight, and that late in the evening, the lounge was relatively empty.

Please note that it is not accessible from Gates 40 – 42.

The Lounge Seating

The seating options at The Lounge are quite limited.

There are only a few rows of small tables located on the left side near the bar area. These tables provide a convenient place to set down a drink or a small snack but may not be ideal if you want to get some work done on a laptop.

On the right-hand side of the lounge, rows of armchairs provide additional seating options. While these chairs are comfortable, they are somewhat clustered together, which is not ideal if you are seeking more privacy.

The Lounge Food & Drinks

On the day of our visit the food options were:

  • Tomato basil soup
  • Ginger chicken rice bowl
  • Crudite (carrots, celery, and grape tomatoes)
  • Hummus and pita bread
  • Gummy bears
  • Granola bars
  • Cookies
  • Fruit

Unfortunately, the quality and variety of the food left something to be desired.

The snack options were self-served, however, the rest were served by the lounge attendant.

There is a small bar in the lounge serving several signature cocktails, like Club Margarita, and a selection of beer, wine, and spirits.

As for the nonalcoholic beverages, the options were:

  • Water
  • Soda
  • Juices
  • Coffee and tea

Final Thoughts

While The Lounge at Boston Logan offers a convenient location and comfortable seating, our experience was somewhat underwhelming. The food options were disappointing, and we found the room to be uncomfortably warm. Ultimately, we decided to leave The Lounge and head to my favorite Priority Pass lounge at Boston Logan airport – Air France lounge that is located in Terminal E.
