Orlando is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and its airport, MCO, reflects that with its constant hustle and bustle. Unfortunately, the airport shows noticeable wear and tear and is in desperate need of refurbishment. The recently opened Terminal C is a step in the right direction, bringing a much-needed modern touch to the airport.

This new terminal is home to a fresh addition to the Priority Pass network—the Plaza Premium Lounge. Compared to the other two Priority Pass lounges at MCO (Club MCO in Terminals A and B), which are small, often overcrowded, and underwhelming, Plaza Premium is a welcome improvement.

Thanks to JetBlue’s seasonal direct flights from PWM to MCO, we finally had the chance to explore both Terminal C and the Plaza Premium Lounge.

The Plaza Premium Lounge is open daily from 7 AM to 9 PM. You can access the lounge in a few different ways:

  1. Priority Pass membership
  2. Business or first-class ticket on select international airlines
  3. Paid access via the Plaza Premium website

Location

The lounge is located in Terminal C, across from Palm Court, near Gate 241. The entrance is on the first floor, but the lounge itself is on the second floor.

Lounge Layout & Seating

The lounge is divided into two main areas:

Family Area

I’m calling this the “family area” because it’s designed with younger travelers in mind. Here, you’ll find eco-friendly toys and educational games for young children, as well as an interactive “Turtle Drop” game (Tasty Turtle Treats) for older kids.

This section has no windows and limited lighting, making it feel dim and quiet—possibly a good spot for a nap if you need one.

Main Area

The main seating area is bright and airy, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, allowing for plenty of natural light. This is where you’ll find the bar and food buffet.

Seating options are varied, ranging from bar stools to comfortable pod-like chairs in the designated “quiet zone” at the back of the lounge.

Food & Beverages

We arrived at the lounge shortly after 10 AM, just in time for the breakfast service. Around 11 AM, the menu transitioned to lunch, so we had the chance to sample both offerings.

Breakfast Options:

  • Scrambled and boiled eggs
  • Chicken sausage links & pork sausage patties
  • Home fries
  • Yogurt
  • Fresh fruit

Lunch Options:

  • Rice
  • Pasta with marinara sauce
  • Stir fry
  • Assorted salads
  • Soup

Additionally, the lounge offers cookies and pastries throughout the day.

For those looking for something extra, there are a la carte menu items available for purchase, such as:

  • Appetizers ($5): Mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, french fries, or Thai spring roll
  • Mains: Bacon cheeseburger $9, crispy chicken sandwich $8, or grilled chicken sandwich $7

Drinks:

  • Non-Alcoholic: Soda, tea, coffee (Lavazza machine)
  • Alcoholic: The bar serves a variety of spirits, but only one complimentary option per category—everything else comes with a $4–$10 surcharge. (See the menu below for details.)

Final Thoughts

Is this the best lounge in the world? No.
But is it the best Priority Pass lounge at Orlando Airport? Absolutely!

If you’re flying through Terminal C and have Priority Pass or business class access, the Plaza Premium Lounge is well worth a visit. It offers modern amenities, better food, and more space than the other Priority Pass options at MCO.

Would I go out of my way to visit this lounge? Probably not.
But if you’re departing from Terminal C, it’s by far the best lounge experience available at MCO.
